In the second half of the day, we took a 4-ish mile hike to Taggart Lake via the Beaver Creek loop.
The trailhead is about 3.7 km north of the Moose Entrance Station and took us through gorgeous views of Grand Teton. We chose to take the Beaver Creek route (to the left), which was a short, but mildly demanding uphill hike with plenty of switchbacks.
After we reached what seemed to be the highest point on the trail, we started downhill and eventually came up on Taggart Lake.
A short bridge crosses Taggart Creek, which was a great place to stop, drink some water, and rinse off.
From there, we took a rocky downhill path back toward the parking lot.
